Role Title: Business Development Manager Location: Baghdad/ Erbil, Iraq Number of positions: 1 Contract type: Indefinite local contract Closing date and time: 12 July 2021 (23:59 GST Time) Pay band and Salary for the position: PB6/G 2,082 USD per month plus Security allowance. The purpose of this role is to grow British Council’s exams business in Iraq, especially our English language assessment services, by building relationships, identifying needs, and enhancing opportunities with partners and key accounts to meet agreed targets. The post holder must work closely with exams, commercial, marketing and customer service teams to identify new opportunities for future busines and secure new clients in support of our growth plans. S/he must manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive, providing solutions and services that meet or predict clients’ future needs.
