Responsible for maintaining computer hardware, software, security, and system performance at Grand Majidi Mall in Erbil.
Position: IT Engineer - Duty Location: Erbil - Grand Majidi Mall Contract Type: Open-End Contract Publishing date: 1st April, 2023 open till the position is filled Starting date: As soon as possible Main Responsibilities: •Serve as primary contact for all servicing of computer PC hardware •Maintain licenses for all software and ensure that all systems are covered by the proper maintenance contacts •Maintain a sufficient inventory of computer related supplies •Maintain a log of all computer hardware and a log of all services calls on computer hardware •Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements •Manage the configuration records, program files and data files on the computer system •Monitor the performance of the computer software and maintain a log of performance reports, error and integrity check reports, system malfunctions and solutions •Install and test corporate approved program changes to the holding computer systems •Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards •Investigate and report software problems to the vendor, or MIS regional, area or corporate office •Complete and distribute monthly activities report to reporting line manager •Selecting and purchasing hardware and software •Managing projects and the installation of new systems including scheduling upgrades •Implementing and managing security or integrity and backup procedures •Providing user training, support, advice and feedback •Testing and modifying systems to ensure that that they operate reliably •Managing secure network access for remote users •Designing maintenance procedures and putting them into operation •Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Required Qualification and Skills: •BS/BA in computer science, IT or relevant field; Master in the same field considered to be a plus. •5+ years of relevant work experience •Significant experience as IT Professional in a corporate setting. •Dynamic, well qualified, with a high level of motivation and enthusiasm and the ability to adapt to unpredictable events. •Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues quickly and effectively. •Highly experienced with various operating systems and databases. •Critical thinking skills and an analytical mind with strong problem-solving abilities. •Enthusiastic about working collaboratively. •Pleasant demeanor and strong customer service skills. •Solid interpersonal skills. •Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work How To Apply Candidates who fit the requirements mentioned above are highly encouraged to send their CVs/Resumes and motivation letter via email to: [email protected] and mention position in the subject line.
