We are Hiring #Accountant_Baghdad Reporting To: Finance Manager Position Overview Kia iraq is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to manage and coordinate a wide range of accounting tasks within our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, maintaining ledgers, supporting budget planning, handling tax submissions, and assisting in audit activities. Success in this role requires in-depth knowledge of GAAP, strong analytical capabilities, and a high level of proficiency in Excel. The candidate must also be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently under pressure. Key Responsibilities: -Manage and coordinate daily accounting operations. -Prepare accurate financial reports and analysis. -Support budget planning and monitor expenditure forecasts. -Maintain and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts. -Prepare tax filings (federal, state, and local). -Assist with audit processes and resolve discrepancies. -Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. -Recommend improvements for accounting procedures and systems. -Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff. -Perform any other finance-related duties as needed. Qualifications & Requirements: -Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. -Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting roles. -Strong understanding of tax regulations and GAAP. -Proven financial analysis and reporting skills. -Excellent written and verbal communication. -Highly organized with strong time management abilities. -Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. -Ability to lead and mentor junior staff. -Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. 📩 To apply, please send your CV to: [email protected]
