Senior Sales Development Representative A fast-growing logistics and e-commerce solutions company is looking for a high-energy Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its sales team. This role is focused on building and growing the merchant acquisition pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and converting potential leads into active business clients. The ideal candidate is a strong hunter, confident in outreach, and able to turn cold conversations into real business opportunities. Job Summary The Senior SDR will be responsible for prospecting potential merchants, qualifying leads, booking meetings, and supporting the company’s sales growth. The role requires someone who understands the Iraqi e-commerce market and can communicate effectively with merchants, online sellers, and business owners. Key Responsibilities Prospect and identify potential merchant leads across Iraq. Conduct outreach through cold calls, WhatsApp, social media, marketplaces, and in-person networking. Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on business needs, shipping volume, category fit, and growth potential. Run discovery conversations to understand merchant challenges and present the company’s value proposition. Book qualified meetings and hand them over to the Account Management team. Maintain accurate CRM records for all outreach activities, follow-ups, and pipeline stages. Achieve monthly qualified lead and meeting targets. Collaborate with the Growth team on campaigns, promotions, and market feedback. Mentor junior SDR team members and support best practices for outreach and lead qualification. Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends. Requirements 2–4 years of experience in sales development, business development, or outbound sales. Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales/outreach targets. Experience in logistics, e-commerce, SaaS, or marketplace businesses is preferred. Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English. Strong experience with cold outreach through calls, WhatsApp, social media, and in-person communication. CRM experience is required. Self-motivated, resilient, organized, and results-driven. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
