We Are Hiring | Accountant Company: YATAY Energy Location: Arab Project, Sulaymaniyah, Iraq YATAY Energy is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at the Arab Project in Sulaymaniyah. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, supporting accounting operations, preparing financial reports, monitoring transactions, and ensuring compliance with company financial policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities - Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation. - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports. - Process invoices, payments, and expense claims. - Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable. - Reconcile bank statements and company accounts. - Manage petty cash and track company expenses. - Assist with budgeting and financial planning activities. - Support internal and external audit processes. - Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. - Coordinate with procurement, operations, and administration teams on financial matters. - Maintain accurate accounting data within the Odoo ERP system. Qualifications & Requirements Education - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience & Technical Skills - Previous experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping roles. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Experience using Odoo ERP, particularly the Accounting and Finance modules. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. - Experience in the oil & gas, energy, or project sector is considered an advantage. Competencies - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Excellent communication and organizational skills.
