Position: Technical Sales Manager (Oilfield Chemicals) Location: Basra / Erbil, Iraq Company: CNOOC Job Summary we are seeking a results-driven Technical Sales Manager based in Iraq. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting and selling our high-performance Cementing Chemicals and Drilling/Completion Mud Chemicals to national oil companies (NOCs), international oil companies (IOCs), and oilfield service providers in Iraq. --- Key Responsibilities * Sales Expansion: Drive product sales across Iraq by identifying business opportunities and building relationships with decision-makers at Iraqi NOCs (e.g., BOC, MOC), IOCs (e.g., BP, TotalEnergies), and tier-1 service providers (e.g., Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, COSL). * Technical Promotion: Present chemical solutions tailored to local well conditions, including Cementing Additives (Retarders C-R21L/C-R42L, Fluid Loss Agents C-FL80L, Spacers C-S32S) and Mud Additives (Viscosifiers D-HTVIS, Shale Inhibitors D-AMIHIB, Lubricants D-LUBE PRO, Plugging Agents D-SEAL NANO). * Account & Tender Management: Lead the complete sales process from technical pre-qualification, product testing, and tender submissions to commercial negotiations and delivery. * Market Intelligence: Monitor oilfield development plans, local tenders, and competitor activities to optimize sales strategies. --- Qualifications & Requirements * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, or related fields. * Experience: 3+ years of technical sales or field service experience in oilfield chemicals (drilling or cementing fluids) in Iraq or the Middle East. * Network: Established contact network with procurement and technical teams at Iraqi oil companies or oilfield service contractors is strongly preferred. * Languages: Native or fluent in Arabic with full professional proficiency in English. * Mobility: Authorized to work in Iraq and willing to travel frequently to oilfield sites in Basra and southern regions. --- What We Offer * Competitive base salary （$2000+）and performance-based sales commission. * Local health coverage and field travel allowances.
