The candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all MEP-related activities on site, ensuring high-quality execution, compliance with design specifications, and adherence to project schedules. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Supervision: o Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems on site. o Monitor the progress and performance of contractors and subcontractors. 2. Quality Assurance: o Ensure that all MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards. o Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any quality issues. 3. Coordination: o Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems. o Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. 4. Documentation: o Prepare and maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, material usage, and labor. o Review and approve method statements and shop drawings for MEP works. o Prepare method statements and risk assessments for MEP activities. o Prepare the reports and project documents to the document control center. 5. Health & Safety: o Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines on-site. o Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures for MEP works. 6. Problem-Solving: o Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the execution of MEP works. Qualifications and Requirements: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline. • Experience: 2-4 years of experience as an MEP Engineer, with a track record of completing at least 3 projects in large complex and high-end developments. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant engineering software. • Knowledge: Strong understanding of MEP systems, codes, and standards. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Kurdish, and Arabic. • Adaptability: Willingness to work on various sites across the Kurdistan region.
