Position: Piping Draftsman Location: Voltec Head Office (No.10 Malik Mahmoud Street, 305 Rojhalat, Sulaymaniyah) Requirements: Education: * Mechanical Engineering Technology * Drafting and Design Technology * CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Experience: 5+ years of experience with complex piping systems and 3D modeling. Technical Skills: - CAD Software Proficiency: * AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, MicroStation, or Smart Plant 3D. * 3D modeling tools (e.g., PDMS, SP3D, or Revit). - Piping Design Knowledge: * Understanding of piping components (valves, flanges, fittings). * Familiarity with piping codes and standards (ASME B31.3, ANSI, ISO). * Ability to interpret P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams). - Drafting Standards: * Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. * Experience with isometric drawings. - Material Specifications: * Understanding of materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC) and their applications.
