Career Opportunity – Project Security Manager Position: Project Security Manager (Expatriate) Location: Iraq - Kirkuk Rotation: 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off Hours: 12-hour shifts, on-call while off duty Language: Native English Speaker (Essential) Reporting To: Security Operations Manager About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Security Manager to oversee security operations for a prestigious international client in a high-risk environment. The successful candidate will act as the single point of contact for all operational security matters, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, and operations while maintaining compliance with COMPANY and client standards. Key Responsibilities: · Lead the planning, implementation, and oversight of security operations for the project · Conduct comprehensive threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments, providing actionable recommendations. · Develop, maintain, and revise SOPs, Orders, and security procedures in alignment with COMPANY standards · Supervise and assess local security arrangements, including armed teams, weapons, and ammunition accountability · Coordinate training programs and ensure personnel are prepared for operational and emergency scenarios · Liaise with local authorities, Law Enforcement, military, and embassies to strengthen operational networks · Manage site security systems, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions · Provide regular weekly and monthly reports on security operations, incidents, and project performance · Participate in and coordinate responses to emergency security incidents. · Ensure QA/QC of all project deliverables and peer review reports prior to distribution Essential Criteria: · Native English speaker (Essential) · Minimum 8 years cumulative military or armed Law Enforcement service with excellent conduct · Minimum 3 years’ Iraq experience with an MOI-registered PSC · PSC management experience within the Oil and Gas industry · SIA licensed · Completion of an internationally recognised military or security command and leadership course (e.g., British Army Platoon Sergeants Battle Course) · Proven leadership, organisational, and communication skills · Experience with ISO standards, including 9001, 14001, 45001, PSC-1, 18788 · Must have a clean criminal record Why Join Us: This role offers the opportunity to work with a prestigious international client in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.
