Duties and Responsibility: • Shipment Coordination: Organize and schedule transportation for goods, ensuring the delivery is on time and within budget. • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and keep accurate records of inventory to avoid shortages or overstocking. • Documentation: Handle and prepare necessary documentation for shipping, customs, and compliance purposes. • Supplier and Customer Communication: Act as a point of contact between suppliers, transportation companies, and customers to resolve any issues or delays. • Problem Solving: Address any issues in the supply chain, such as delays, shortages, or damages, and work to resolve them quickly. • Data Entry and Reporting: Update databases and spreadsheets with shipment statuses, inventory levels, and other logistics-related data. • Compliance: Ensure that shipments comply with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., safety, environmental laws).
