Job Announcement Position: IT Auditor Duty Location: Erbil Job Description: Gateway ICT Solutions is looking to an IT Auditor. The IT Auditor works with internal audit, business and IT Management to plan and perform basic to complex internal and enterprise-wide IT, operational and regulatory audits. This responsibility includes performing internal audits of the development life cycle, cyber security procedures and third-party risk management. Additional responsibilities of the IT Auditor include Identifying control deficiencies, assessing exposure and significance, proposing cost effective recommendations, and preparing internal audit reports reflecting the results of the work performed. Our IT Auditor may also perform follow-up on the status of outstanding audit issues. Job Responsibilities: • Acquire additional knowledge of regulations and emerging technologies • Help ensure regulations for technologies • Provide recommendations and guidance on identified security and control risks. • Develop a strong understanding of business and system processes. Qualification: • Excellent analytical skills • Ability to resolve problems and make decisions independently • Excellent verbal and written communications • Skilled in operating personal computers and various software packages (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, etc.) • Must understand the SDLC process and have worked in that type of environment • Must understand Networking, VPN, Firewall, Data Loss prevention, IPS, Web-proxy. • CRISC, CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CGEIT, or other relevant certification are a PLUS • Background in applying and obtaining ISO certificates are a PLUS (ISO 22301, ISO 27001) • Knowledge of cybersecurity and IT infrastructure • previous experience in financial services industry or audit planning is a PLUS • Technical background, supporting the regulations for technologies and understanding the artifacts in which are being audited. • Exposure to the following technologies – ITIL, SQL, and Access Management How to apply: Candidates who fit the requirements mentioned above are highly encouraged to send their CVs via email to [email protected] and mention IT Auditor in the subject line.
