Job Title: Payroll Officer Company: Hala FTTH Location: Baghdad Al-Mansour Job Type: Full-Time Job Overview: The Payroll Officer at Hala FTTH is responsible for efficiently managing the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. The role involves handling payroll-related tasks, addressing employee inquiries, and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations. Responsibilities: · Accurately process payroll, including data entry, timesheet verification, and deduction calculation, ensuring compliance. · Support compensation analysis by collecting and analyzing salary data. · Administer employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans, and flexible spending accounts). · Generate payroll reports and compensation data summaries, preparing data for audits and supporting decision-making. · Stay updated on payroll laws, ensuring compliance with tax forms and filings. · Assist in reviewing and implementing compensation adjustments, preparing accurate documentation. · Maintain precise employee payroll and compensation records in HRIS. · Address payroll inquiries, collaborate on issue resolution, and investigate complex problems. · Manage documentation for compensation and payroll compliance, ensuring confidentiality. · Identify opportunities for streamlining processes and implementing best practices. · Manage social security processes, stay current with updates, and ensure timely payroll tax filings. · Organize and maintain accurate records of all tax-related transactions, preparing for audits. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. · 2 Years’ experience as a payroll officer or similar role. · Familiarity with payroll software and systems. · Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations. · Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. · Good communication and interpersonal skills.
