SAS Automotive Service Company is looking to hire great talents within the IT department to cover the IT Support role in Kirkuk, as in the below Requirements: Overall Objective of the Job The IT Administrator is responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining the operations of all the IT software and hardware company, through proper coordination with the Group IT Team Leader and Supervisor. Key Responsibilities: · Assists in developing and implementing a comprehensive IT strategy encompassing all aspects of IT management. · Proposes plans and programs that boost the effectiveness of the IT functions. · Ensures that work activities are carried out achieving the pre-set performance goals and suggesting any necessary actions to the direct supervisor. · Analyzes the Group’s IT operations, ensures the existence of key performance indicators for the efficiency, and prepares reports that represent the percentages of achievement and the proposed plans for the current and future department’s activities. · Controls and administrates Group’s data aspects to ensure proper backups are in effect. · Participates in selecting IT vendors and provides guidance for buying different Information Technology systems and hardware. · Ensures that all software applications and networks at the Group are operating in the way they should be, and that employees can access and make proper usage of these resources within the specified policies and procedures. · Maintains network security and monitors Group’s internal networks and telephone system and takes care of all related upgrade issues or troubleshooting. · Implements Group’s internet usage policy and monitors the use of internet and emails to make sure that everyone is making proper use of the system and network. · Performs software, application development, installation, and upgrades in addition to ensuring proper backup is taking place for new systems installed. · Installs, configures, and maintains personal computers, the Group’s networks, file servers, intranet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems; adds or upgrades and configures routers, disk drives, data acquisition boards, CD ROM units, printers, and related equipment. · Conducts periodic license renewals for existing software packages in coordination with Group IT agreements to ensure validity and minimize disruptions. · Performs any related task as requested by the direct supervisor. Job Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. · Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
