Position: Accountant - Duty Location: Erbil - Grand Majidi Mall Contract Type: Open-End Contract Publishing date: 1st April, 2023 open till the position is filled Starting date: As soon as possible Job Description: Main Responsibilities: - Enter the Daily transactions in the system. - Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines. - Maintain vendors, customers, and other filing as per the archiving methodologies followed in the company. - Follow up with other departments for collecting data and finalizing reconciliations. - Follow all established procedures to enter transactions in the general ledger. - Enter credit and debit note transactions with sales department. - Assist with month-end closing. - Entering all cash receipts, allowances, price difference, returns and other charges. - Backs to customer statement of accounts timely and accurately. - Maintain thorough, well organized customer files and data archiving. - Any other duties commensurate with the role. Required qualification and skills: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration or related. - Minimum 3 years of experience working as an accountant. - Solid knowledge of computer software and modern accounting systems - Fluency in Kurdish, English and Arabic, both written and verbal - Experience in accounting, cashflow management, budgeting and reporting - Good knowledge of the MS office software including Word, Outlook.
