Position: Graphic Designer - Duty Location: Erbil - Grand Majidi Mall Contract Type: Open-End Contract Publishing date: 1st April, 2023 open till the position is filled Starting date: As soon as possible Main Responsibilities: • Study design briefs and determine requirements. • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements. • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas. • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand. • Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic. • Work with copywriters and marketing manager to produce final design. • Test graphics across various media. • Amend designs after feedback. • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Required Qualification and Skills: • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Motion Graphics preferred • 3+ years’ experience as a graphic designer. • Proven graphic designing experience and video editor. • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics. • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere and After Effects). • A keen eye for aesthetics and details. • Excellent communication skills. • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines. • A degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus. • Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio. • Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing. • Creative mind and storytelling skills. • Strong prioritization skills • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines • Advanced in English and Arabic and Kurdish is a must.
