NAK Contracting is Hiring: Accountant (English Speaking) We are seeking a skilled English-speaking Accountant to become part of our team at NAK Contracting in Erbil, Iraq. This role is pivotal for managing our financial records, ensuring tax compliance, and overseeing budget operations. Key Requirements: • Qualifications: Must hold appropriate accounting qualifications and be eligible to work in Erbil, Iraq. • Language Skills: Proficiency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Kurdish is a plus. • Location: This role is based in Erbil, Iraq. Core Responsibilities: • Financial Reporting: Accurately prepare monthly and annual financial statements. • Tax Compliance: Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations and timely filings. • Budget Management: Effectively develop and manage the company’s budget. • Financial Analysis: Perform detailed financial analyses for strategic decision-making. • Audit Support: Prepare and assist with both internal and external audits. • Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accuracy and timeliness. • Record Keeping: Keep detailed and organized financial records and documentation.
