Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Supervisor – IRAQ Project: IRAQ-Oil and Gas-Commission Company: Top3 Chinese NOC Rotation & Package: Rotation: 2 months on / 2 months off Work Schedule: 12 hours/day, 7 days/week during rotation. Monthly Salary: $3,500 USD (all‑inclusive, with accommodation, transportation, and meals provided in camp). About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor for a major oil & gas project in Iraq, operated by one of China's National Oil Companies (NOCs). This role is part of the post‑commissioning and operational phase, requiring a strong background in project start‑up/commissioning combined with hands‑on electrical maintenance experience. You will ensure the reliability and integrity of all electrical equipment, including substations, switchgear, motors, and distribution systems. Key Responsibilities: Supervise all electrical maintenance activities, including HV/MV/LV switchgear, transformers, protection relays, motors, VFDs, and cable distribution networks. Leverage commissioning background to support system handover, review commissioning dossiers, and address outstanding pre‑commissioning/commissioning punch items. Participate in system walkdowns, functional testing, and energization during project handover phases. Develop and maintain electrical maintenance procedures, inspection/test plans, and preventive maintenance schedules. Supervise technicians and contractors, ensuring strict compliance with HSE standards, Permit‑to‑Work systems, and site safety protocols. Troubleshoot electrical faults, coordinate repairs, and conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures. Monitor equipment performance, review thermography surveys, insulation testing, and relay coordination studies. Requirements: Electrical Engineering Degree or Advanced Trade Certificate with HV qualifications. Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas or power generation electrical maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Proven track record in project start‑up/commissioning – direct experience during substation commissioning/energization of major facilities (essential). Previous rotation experience in remote/overseas locations (Iraq/Middle East preferred). Strong knowledge of protection relays, switchgear maintenance, motor testing, and HV switching procedures.
