We Are Hiring – Environmental Manager 📍 Location: Basra, Iraq 🏢 Company: CEEC International Engineering Co., Ltd. 🔋 Project: 1GW Solar Photovoltaic Project (Owner: TotalEnergies, France) We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Iraqi national to join our EPC team as an Environmental Manager. This role is critical in ensuring environmental compliance and sustainable construction practices for one of the largest solar PV projects in Iraq. You will work closely with project stakeholders to implement and monitor environmental protection measures in line with IFC, World Bank, and Iraqi environmental standards. 📌 Only Iraqi nationals will be considered. 📌 Immediate availability is preferred. 📌 Candidates with EPC or solar power project experience are strongly encouraged to apply. ✅ Key Requirements: Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related disciplines Minimum 3 years of practical experience in environmental management, monitoring, and reporting Knowledge of Iraqi environmental laws, IFC Performance Standards, and ISO 14001 Capable of leading environmental field investigations, EIA/ESHIA support, and compliance auditing Strong ability to develop and track Environmental KPIs, including: Air & water quality compliance rate Waste management performance Environmental incidents & corrective actions EIA approval milestones and regulatory reporting Experience with laboratory testing or water/soil sample analysis is a plus Proficient in English (technical writing and reporting); Arabic is a plus Good interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with regulatory bodies and Client teams 🌟 Preferred: Experience in power, solar, or infrastructure EPC projects Familiarity with environmental lab operations or contamination investigations Female candidates are encouraged to apply to promote team diversity. 📧 Apply Now: Send your updated English CV to: [email protected]
