📢 Hiring – Senior Environmental Engineer 📍 Location: Basra, Iraq 🏢 Company: CEEC International Engineering Co., Ltd. Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Environmental Management Plan (EMP) in line with contract requirements and international standards. • Ensure compliance with local environmental laws, regulations, permits, and TotalEnergies environmental requirements. • Monitor and control environmental aspects during construction, including dust, noise, waste management, wastewater, and soil protection. • Coordinate and support Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) implementation and follow-up actions. • Conduct regular site inspections, environmental audits, and assessments; issue reports and corrective actions where required. • Manage environmental documentation, records, monitoring reports, and submissions to the client and authorities. • Investigate environmental incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive measures. • Supervise and guide contractors and subcontractors to ensure environmental compliance on site. • Deliver environmental training and awareness programs for project staff and workers. • Liaise with the client, consultants, and local authorities on all environmental-related matters. ________________________________________ Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline. • Minimum 8 years of environmental or HSE-related experience in large EPC or infrastructure projects; renewable energy experience preferred. • Strong knowledge of environmental management systems and standards (ISO 14001). • Experience with environmental monitoring, audits, inspections, and compliance reporting. • Familiar with EPC project environmental requirements and construction-stage environmental controls. • Ability to prepare environmental management documents, reports, and official submissions independently. • Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. • Fluent in English for professional communication and documentation. ________________________________________ Preferred: • Iraqi nationals only • Experience in large-scale Solar PV or renewable energy EPC projects • Familiarity with Middle East environmental regulations and client standards • Immediate availability 📧 Apply: **[email protected]**
