A Bank in Erbil- Iraq: Position: IT Infrastructure Administrator Overview: The Infrastructure Administrator will lead the bank’s IT infrastructure strategy and operations, ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing systems that support digital banking services. This role oversees servers, virtualization, storage, and network infrastructure while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute IT infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives. • Lead, mentor, and manage the infrastructure and network teams. • Oversee servers, virtualization, storage, and network architecture for performance, scalability, and security. • Implement and monitor disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity plans. • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (CBI) and internal security policies. • Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and security teams on deployments, integrations, and incident resolution. • Establish and enforce infrastructure policies, standards, and documentation practices. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred. • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (banking/fintech preferred). • Strong expertise in Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V/Nutanix), storage, and network infrastructure. • Experience in disaster recovery, business continuity, and regulatory compliance. • Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills.
