Seeking a full-time Projects Coordinator for an NGO in Sulaymaniyah, responsible for project management, monitoring, and reporting, with at least 3 years of experience.
Position: Projects Coordinator Overview: International NGO for Human Rights seeks a full-time Project Coordinator based in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan Region. The role reports to the Country Director and requires a Bachelor's degree or higher. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: • Assist Grants Coordinators in proposal writing by providing project information and conducting necessary assessments. • Review draft proposals for accuracy, realistic targets, and budget alignment. • Establish and maintain project fact sheet with key information. • Organize project kick-off and closure meetings, and coordinate inception meetings with donors. • Visit project locations for monitoring purposes. • Track project expenses and financial overview. Monitoring: • Request timely information from Heads of Programs or Case Managers about upcoming activities. • Set up an info-sharing and reporting system for all coordinated projects. • Collect data for regular internal reporting. • Monthly tracking of target number implementations and addressing issues with relevant stakeholders. Reporting: • Be aware of reporting deadlines and ensure all relevant data is available. • Write and submit reports to donors in coordination with Director of Operations. Partnership and Networking Tasks: • Collaborate with other NGOs for joint projects and initiatives. • Liaise with stakeholders and represent the organization in external events on behalf of the Director of Operations. • Support in maintaining relationships with project partners and engage in networking activities. • Explore and establish partnerships with potential NGOs for future projects. • Foster communication and information exchange with partner organizations.
