Presales Engineer – Datacenter Solutions Company: Madarek Group – Datacenter & Infrastructure Solutions Location: Baghdad (Office-based with site visits) Experience: 6 months –1 Years Reports To: Presales Manager / Technical Head Salary: IQD 1,000,000 – 1,250,000 per month Job Purpose Support the sales and technical teams by preparing technical proposals, assisting in solution design, and supporting BOQ and cost estimation for datacenter and IT infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Presales & Technical Support Prepare technical proposals for: • Datacenter infrastructure (UPS, cooling, racks, containment, power distribution, fire suppression) • Structured cabling and low-current systems • Review RFQs/RFPs and prepare compliant responses • Participate in site surveys and prepare reports • BOQ & Costing • Prepare BOQs under supervision • Assist in cost estimation and vendor comparisons • Ensure alignment between technical and commercial offers • Vendor & Documentation Support • Collect and organize datasheets and technical documents • Support compliance sheets and technical submittals • Maintain proposal templates and documentation standards • Customer Support • Attend customer meetings with sales/senior engineers • Assist in technical clarifications and presentations Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Telecommunications, Networks, or related engineering field Experience • 1–2 years in presales, design, or technical support • (Datacenter or MEP experience is a plus) • Technical Skills • Basic understanding of datacenter power and cooling systems • Ability to read technical specifications, datasheets, and SLDs • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Basic AutoCAD knowledge (preferred) Soft Skills: • Strong attention to detail • Organized and structured work style • Willingness to learn • Good English communication skills • Ability to work under deadlines • Team player 📩 Apply by sending your CV to: [email protected]
