**Job Vacancy – Site Construction Manager (Steel Structures)** **Company:** Nahaj Al Khair Company **Location:** Basrah, Iraq **Position:** Site Construction Manager – Steel Structures **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Job Description** Nahaj Al Khair Company is seeking an experienced **Site Construction Manager – Steel Structures** to lead and supervise structural steel fabrication, delivery and erection activities at the project site. **Key Responsibilities** Manage and supervise all structural steel erection and installation activities. Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project schedule. Coordinate steel erection sequences, cranes, lifting operations, manpower and equipment. Supervise steel columns, beams, roof structures, bracing, canopies and structural connections. Coordinate with Civil, Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Logistics and Project Control teams. Monitor construction progress, productivity and subcontractor performance. Ensure proper alignment, leveling, bolting, welding and structural stability. Review erection and fabrication drawings and resolve site construction issues. Ensure safe execution of lifting and work-at-height activities. Coordinate inspections, testing, punch-list closure and final handover. Prepare daily/weekly construction reports and provide progress information to Project Control. **Requirements** · Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural or Construction Engineering. · **10+ years of construction experience**, with at least 5 years in structural steel erection/management. · Strong knowledge of steel erection, lifting operations, bolting and welding. · Experience managing construction teams and subcontractors. · Ability to read structural/fabrication/erection drawings. · Knowledge of **Eurocodes, AISC or other international steel standards** is an advantage. · Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. · Very good English language skills · The salary is **not less than IQD 2,000,000**, with the final salary to be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and interview outcome ** ** · **Note : Interested candidates are kindly requested to send their CVs to the following number: ****009647748182297**
