KNE is looking for a Spare Parts Officer for its Technical & Spare Parts Department. The role involves inventory management, documentation, purchasing support, and coordination with maintenance, installation, projects, finance, and suppliers.
KNE are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Spare Parts Officer to join our Technical & Spare Parts Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing spare parts inventory, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting purchasing activities, and ensuring the availability of spare parts required to support field operations. Key Responsibilities 1- Monitor spare parts inventory levels and identify shortages and future requirements. 2- Manage minimum and maximum stock levels for critical and fast-moving items. 3- Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate stock discrepancies. 4- Organize and manage the spare parts warehouse, including receiving, storing, and issuing parts. 5- Verify received spare parts against quantities, specifications, and supporting documents. 6- Record all spare parts transactions and inventory updates in the relevant system. 7- Document and classify spare parts, including part numbers, serial numbers, specifications, and technical details. 8- Prepare spare parts purchase requests and follow up on orders until delivery. 9- Coordinate with local suppliers to source required parts when necessary. 10- Identify suitable technical alternatives for unavailable spare parts. 11- Assess the possibility of repairing spare parts instead of replacing them and provide recommendations where applicable. 12- Support the repair and testing of repairable spare parts and control panels within the available scope and authority. 13- Maintain and update technical documents, manuals, drawings, and related information in the system. 14- Coordinate effectively with Maintenance, Installation, Projects, Finance, and suppliers. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field. A relevant specialized diploma may also be considered. 1–2 years of experience in elevators, inventory management, warehouses, or a related field. Experience in the elevator industry is preferred. Ability to read and understand part numbers, technical specifications, and technical documentation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry. Good organizational, follow-up, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems. Arabic proficiency and basic technical English. Willingness to work in the warehouse environment and, when required, outside regular working hours to support urgent spare parts needs.
