Experience: 15+ Years Position: Senior Technical Engineer – Coiled Tubing NESR Iraq is looking for a highly experienced Senior Technical Engineer – Coiled Tubing to provide technical leadership and support the planning, design, and execution of Coiled Tubing and well intervention operations, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, cost efficiency, and compliance with QHSE standards. Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership in the planning, design, and execution of Coiled Tubing and well intervention operations. Develop and review job designs, operational programs, technical procedures, and engineering calculations. Support the selection, qualification, and implementation of CT equipment, tools, and technologies. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support during field operations. Analyze operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective engineering solutions. Monitor job costs and operational efficiency, supporting sound technical and economic decision-making. Prepare and review technical reports, job evaluations, and failure investigation reports. Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure service delivery meets operational requirements. Lead, develop, and support high-performance technical and operational teams. Ensure compliance with company policies, QHSE requirements, industry standards, and operational procedures. Promote continuous improvement, technical innovation, and knowledge sharing across the department. Requirements 15+ years of relevant oilfield experience in technical and operational roles. Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in Coiled Tubing operations, well intervention, job design, and execution. Experience in stimulation, fracturing, cementing, diagnostics, or related well intervention services is an advantage. Strong understanding of operational planning, engineering design, execution methods, and troubleshooting. Solid understanding of cost management and economic decision-making. Fluent in English, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Completion of relevant QHSE training. Strong customer orientation and the ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships. Demonstrated ability to develop and manage high-performance teams while working collaboratively with others. Strong commitment to company values, safety, service quality, and operational excellence.
