Medya Medical Center seeks a Laboratory Supervisor to manage and coordinate medical laboratory activities, ensuring high standards and effective communication with all related parties.
Job Title: Laboratory Supervisor Reports to: Chief Operating Officer Location: Kirkuk Road, Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan Region, Iraq Position Overview: Directs, manages and coordinates activities of staff engaged in performing all the Medical Laboratory activities. Also, provides work direction and technical supervision for the laboratory services (All Sections), maintains high laboratory standards and upholds his total responsibility of Lab, test result, medical association, physicians and patients. Required Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: - Education Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Medicine, Medical Technology or related area. - Experience Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education approved by MC HR guidelines. - Language Fluency in written and oral Kurdish, English and Arabic - Working Hours 48 hours per week - Unique requirements of the job 1. Knowledge of principles, methods, materials, equipment and techniques of medical technology 2. Knowledge of Labour law, safety rules and conditions & SOP’s 3. Ability to effective communication with all related parties in the laboratory 4. Ability to work as a team player 5. Customer service 6. Leadership skills 7.
