Job brief Iraq Horizon Technology Company looking for a qualified IT Procurement Coordinator who fits this role, oversees the daily activities of the technology purchasing function; reviews technology purchasing decisions, orders, and vendor contracts; assists with the ordering of materials and supplies from vendors; researches, interviews, and negotiates with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications; creates purchase orders for the acquisition of materials and performs related administrative tasks. This position should be and remain familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures also must have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. Responsibilities • Assist with purchasing and managing IT assets. • Responsible for product support and warranties, leasing, maintenance, and software contracts, as well as hardware purchases, and license information. • Make presentations and generate daily reports. • Provides office support to either an individual or team and is vital for the smooth-running of a business. • Maintain contract data. • Create purchase requisitions. • Obtain and review competitive bids, quotes, and proposals from vendors and contractors; discuss evaluations and review with requesters and subject matter experts. • Provide pricing quotes for items and preparing orders with suppliers. • Ensure line items of the purchase order with the packing slip and ensuring the quality of the materials received. • Research products and equipment; prepare product/equipment specifications. • Research websites/contact vendors to gather technical information and prices on supplies and equipment • Update the inventory listing of property on all new deliveries in BMC. • Works with IT Helpdesk to maintain repository of enterprise software licenses/keys • Assist helpdesk in updating and maintaining inventories for all IT equipment and supplies including location, • asset tag number serial number make and model of equipment. • Coordinate with helpdesk onsite services calls for equipment installation and maintenance as needed • Assist with drafting, revising and circulating purchase and procurement guidance. • Negotiate with vendors for the best price over contracted services and purchases. • Coordinate with selected vendors on supply and delivery of purchased items. • Responsible for all surplus inventories. Requirements • Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field • Proven experience working as a IT procurement in the same area required • Strong knowledge of the industry and market conditions • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Impeccable negotiation and problem-solving skills • Exceptional interpersonal skills and rapport building • Able to travel to meet vendors and suppliers as necessary • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills • Strong sense of responsibility • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills • Good knowledge in Computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, outlook). • Prefer age (24-28) if you interested and have the required competencies, please apply your CV on [email protected] mention the job title in the subject, the closing date 25-07-2022.
