Iraq E- Gate for Financial Services (SWITCH) is giving You the opportunity to join its team Senior Officer – Digital Services Job details: Senior Officer – Digital Services Work location: Baghdad Workdays: 5 Work time: Full Time Job Summary • The Senior Officer of the Digital Services Unit will collaborate with the Unit's Head and other stakeholders across the company to ensure the seamless operation of all digital services, encompassing multiple mobile applications and portals. They will also partner with developers and external solution providers to introduce new services and features on SWITCH mobile/portals solutions, while also participating in the design and documentation of intricate extended environments. • Additionally, the senior officer will be involved in the testing phase, tasked with identifying and reporting any bugs or issues encountered during implementation and testing. They will ensure that the mobile/portals applications align with requirements, working closely with development teams (both internal and external vendor teams) to report, track, and resolve any issues, and to verify that services operate correctly prior to release. Main Responsibilities and Duties • Provide technical support and guidance to team members, fostering collaboration and achieving shared objectives. • Monitor the performance of mobile applications and middleware systems to ensure optimal functionality. • Engage in collaborative discussions to plan, design, and implement functional projects, in alignment with stakeholder requirements. • Enhance the performance of mobile and portal solutions, APIs, and existing integrations. • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and glitches in a timely manner. • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail while working independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment. • Continuously expand knowledge and skills in emerging techniques and technologies to enhance platform performance. Must Have Skills: o Webservices REST/SOAP, XML, JSON o Programing languages: Java, PHP/Laravel, C#/ASP.NET/Core o Mobile development: Dart/Flutter or Native (Java/Android, Swift/iOS, ...) o Version Control: Git, Gitlab, or GitHub o SQL Fundamentals o Writing Efficient and Clean Code o Understanding of web application architecture and design principles behind scalable applications. o Web Servers such as IIS and Tomcat. Education and Trainings/Experience • BC’s degree in computer science • From 4 to 5 years’ experience in software development including integration with third party systems.
