We are #Hiring Iraq E-Gate for Financial Services (SWITCH) is inviting you to join its team. Position: Manager-Operational Risk Work location: Iraq-Baghdad Workdays: 5 Work time: Full Time I. Main Responsibilities and Duties · Performing all duties assigned to the Head of Risk Management in their absence. · Day-to-day operational duties to ensure on-time implementation of the company’s approved operational risk management framework. · Supervisingthe performance of unit staff and reviewing their reports. · Analyzing operational incidents and assessing their potential impact on the institution. · Collecting data and monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and providing support analysis. ·Contributing to the preparation of periodic risk reports submitted to senior management and regulatory authorities. · Ensuring the department’s compliance with the Central Bank of Iraq’s risk management policies and procedures. ·Supporting the process of identifying and assessing emerging risks and proposing recommendations to mitigate them. · Supporting and following up on CBI requests, requirements, and reporting in respect to Operational Risk. II. Education and Training/ Experience · Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Law. · Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, banking, or electronic payment institutions. · Familiarity with regulatory instructions issued by the Central Bank of Iraq. · Completion of at least 75 hours of training in operational risk management III. Skills and Competencies · Strong analysis and reporting skills. · Strong leadership skills. · Decision maker. · High-level communication skills.
