📢 Hiring – MEP Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical / HVAC) 📍 Location: Basra, Iraq 🏢 Company: CEEC International Engineering Co., Ltd. ⚡ Project: 1GW Solar Photovoltaic Project (Owner: TotalEnergies, France) ________________________________________ MEP Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical / HVAC Systems) Purpose: Responsible for managing the installation, testing, commissioning, and quality control of all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Firefighting) systems within the project. Ensure all works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, design requirements, and international standards. ________________________________________ Key Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC Engineering • Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP construction, installation, and commissioning on large-scale EPC or industrial projects • Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems (chilled water, VRF, split, and package units) • Familiar with QA/QC systems, inspection processes, and international standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, ASME, ASTM, IPC, and UMC • Experience in coordination between civil, structural, architectural, and electrical disciplines • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and MEP design software (e.g., TRACE Load, HAP, MIDEA VRF Selection Tool) • Fluent in English, capable of preparing technical reports and communicating with international consultants • International certifications preferred (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, IRCA QMS Lead Auditor) • Overseas project experience preferred; experience in the Middle East or North Africa is an advantage • Currently, only Iraqi nationals are eligible to apply ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems • Review and verify MEP drawings, materials, and technical documentation for compliance with project design and standards • Monitor progress and ensure all MEP works are completed on time and within quality requirements • Prepare and execute Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), ensuring accurate inspection and testing records • Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test), and system handover procedures • Identify and resolve site technical issues, track corrective actions, and ensure timely NCR closure • Support QA/QC documentation, inspections, and audits to ensure project acceptance by client and consultant • Ensure all MEP activities comply with site safety regulations and company procedures ________________________________________ Preferred Candidates: • Iraqi nationals with experience in large-scale EPC or energy projects are highly encouraged • Candidates available for immediate mobilization preferred ________________________________________ 📧 Apply Now: [email protected] Join us in delivering world-class renewable energy infrastructure in Iraq 🌍⚙️🌞
