An international NGO in Sulaymaniyah is seeking a Counseling Psychologist and a Media Manager. The Counseling Psychologist should have a bachelor's degree in sociology and 3-5 years of experience. The Media Manager should have a diploma or bachelor's in media studies and 2 years of experience, with proficiency in Adobe tools and languages.

We major in Humanitarian activities (Refugee intervention), Education, Health, and Human Development. We are looking for highly motivated candidates to perform the positions mentioned above. The candidate is to provide support to the organization while maintaining a sense of professionalism. 1-Media Manager Requirements: Education: Diploma or bachelor’s in media studies will be preferred but (not the only option) ➢ Experience: 2 years of related experience. (Experience in working with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustration and After Effect). ➢ Candidates who resident in Sulaymaniyah have more chance to be accepted. ➢ Extremely detail-oriented and with perfect follow-up skills. ➢ The ability to use standard software packages (Microsoft office and others). ➢ Ability to organize tasks, research and keeping records. ➢ Language skills: Kurdish, (Arabic and English) a must. ➢ Highly dependable and trustworthy: maintain confidentiality with access to extremely sensitive documents. ➢ Good communication service and relationship-building skills (Team working skills, Organization and time management skills, Flexibility). ➢ The ability to be proactive and use your initiative: to see what needs to be done and to do it ➢ Ability to travel within KRG. ➢ Planning and developing social media campaigns ➢ Crafting compelling content or getting it developed ➢ Posting content across social media accounts ➢ Engaging with customers on different platforms ➢ Being on top of the latest social media trends ➢ Analyze customer expectations according to past social media activity ➢ Update social media content across ➢ Engage with customers and followers ➢ Use social media marketing tools ➢ Monitor campaigns and analyzes data obtained ➢ Establish relationships with social media influencers to develop a strong network ➢ Develop content or get it done by content developers ➢ Keep an eye on social media trends ➢ Communicate effectively to all stakeholders including senior management and content developers ➢ Have experience in working with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustration and After Effect. 2-Counseling Psychologist Requirements: The person is to offer Mental Health and Psychosocial support (MHPSS) to local communities, Refugee and IDPs in the camps in Sulaymaniyah district. ➢ Education: Bachelors or higher degree in sociology. ➢ Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in counseling/trauma healing situations. ➢ Extremely detail-oriented and with perfect follow-up skills. ➢ The ability to use standard software packages (Microsoft office and others) ➢ ➢ Develop training material and provide training and capacity building to partners on child and adolescent psychosocial care, MHPSS awareness. ➢ Ability to organize tasks, research and keeping records. ➢ Ability to travel within KRG. ➢ Language skills: Kurdish, (Arabic and English is a must) ➢ Highly dependable and trustworthy: maintain confidentiality with access to extremely sensitive documents. ➢ Ability to counsel work with trauma, ADHD, and other related mental health cases. ➢ Good communication service and relationship-building skills (Team working skills, Organization and time management skills, Flexibility) ➢ The ability to be proactive and use your initiative: to see what needs to be done and to do it ➢ ➢ ➢Conduct psychosocial assessments, including assessment of mental health needs and suicide risk #All_Kurdistan_Jobs
